This Hyung Jin (Sean) Moon, president of the worldwide Unification Movement, bowing to a golden statue of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and his wife. Some members of the UC are disillusioned by strange practices such as this. Some cite the Bible story in Exodus about those who were led out of slavery by Moses and turned their backs to God and worshiped the golden calf instead. They say that this proves that this “offering” of Hyung Jin is simply creepy idolatry.
